Join our team as a Data Business Analyst and help us deliver on a significant book of work that is crucial to the Group. This is a unique opportunity for you to help us make better data-driven decisions and deliver a more informed, more agile yet robust Finance function.

You will work closely with the business on large data projects to define data and functional requirements and conduct gap and impact analyses. You will also work with IT and other technical staff to ensure that business requirements are met and are technologically viable. In addition, you will actively manage risks, issues and drive an appropriate risk management culture in the team. You will also strategically look at the project pipeline to ascertain which pieces of work will resolve multiple issues at once.

You will have previous experience working with data models, demonstrating an understanding of data modelling. Your practical knowledge in working with data for use in reporting systems, software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts along with exposure to tools like Alteryx /or PowerBI will be second to none. You will have an ability to concisely share data insights in both the spoken and written form, along with a proven ability to work across all levels of stakeholders and build relationships quickly.

Your strong analytical, problem solving skills, coupled with your experience within Finance and/or product knowledge of financial instruments, will ensure you are successful in this role. An understanding of Enterprise Data Management and data quality concepts would be desirable but not a necessity for this role.
