In this key business focused role, supporting the Financial Management Group, you will be required to work with the business cross functionally and build and maintain strong relationships, and influence your key stakeholders. You will assist the Group in the implementation of the Information Management Strategy and in identifying its Critical Data and bringing that data under governance. This will include understanding data usage across the Group, detailing data lineage and capturing data risks and control within the end-to-end data flow. Your stakeholder group will be broad and your success in the role will require exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to lead and inspire technical people alike.

You will act as a brand ambassador for good data management practices and will represent and be the voice of the Financial Management Group in Group-wide Data Working Groups and forums. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about data quality, able to build strong relationships and influence outcomes, and take people on the journey. Being a self-starter, driven and curious, will also be key, as you will be solving complex issues and providing solutions to the Group.

Prior experience as a Business Analyst in Regulatory Reporting, Regulatory Change or finance projects is highly sought after and an understanding of data related Regulatory Requirements e.g. BCBs 239 and APRA CPG 235 is highly regarded.
