SUMMARY OF ROLE

To assist Head of Internal Audit Department in managing Store Audit & Lost Prevention assignments, monitoring the performance of audit teams and coordinating the activities (i.e. Store Audit and Loss Prevention), to assist in monitoring OT and travelling expenses incurred, prepare daily audit results and monthly reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and manage store audit visits and lost prevention assignments
  • Manage audit teams and monitor staff performance
  • Follow-up on audit status and daily results of inventory and cash audits
  • Coordinate activities of store audit and loss prevention, including follow-up with Operations on findings
  • Assist in conducting risk-based audits
  • Assist HOD in updating risk management activities
  • Assist in preparing MGM presentations
  • Assist in preparing monthly Store Audit and Loss Prevention reports
  • Reviewing OT and expenses claims incurred by staff
  • Assist in recruitment of staff
  • To perform any other work as and when required

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in a public accounting firm or big corporation, specialising in internal audit or IT audit
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Good report writing skills and able to communicate at all levels
  • Knowledge of retail industry will be an added advantage
  • A self-starter, hardworking and efficient as team member
