The role has come about through this period of growth and will reward the successful applicant with a varied role within a fantastic rapidly growing SME that will provide a varied and solid base in their finance career.

Description

The successful Accounts Assistant will be expected to have/complete;

  • Conduct credit analysis to determine and approve internal ratings and limits
  • Supporting the accounts team with all month-end tasks as required.
  • Supporting the production of monthly management accounts responsible for accruals, prepayments and ad hoc journals.
  • Reconciliation of intercompany ledgers.
  • Responsible for monthly allocation of costs to contracts.
  • Assistance with tax processes
  • Responsible for purchasing control accounts
  • Supporting the team with improving finance reports and process.
  • Support for the Finance team with ad hoc reporting and processing as required.

    • Profile

    This role will require the Accounts Assistant to have;

  • AAT / QBE / ACCA / CIMA
  • Business to business credit control with varied accountancy skills
  • Excellent software and Microsoft excel skills
  • Sage (Essential)
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
