Statutory Reporting Accountant - Fixed Term Contract

• Short term contract up until October 31st.

The Role:

We have been engaged to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant permenant position for a leading global funds management business based in the CBD. Reporting into the Manager - Financial Reporting and working within a collaborative and high performing team enviroment, key duties will include but not be limited to;

• Provide oversight of fund accounting deliverables from offshore team
• Review the end of year Financial Statements & Tax Returns (Statutory Accounts) for a variety of Funds
• Ensure proper internal controls are maintained and followed.
• Contribute to and support a client centric culture across Fund Accounting and ensure that client requirements are fully supported.
• Ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Manager

Key Requirements:

• CA/CPA/ ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Must have experience with Review of Financial Statements / Tax Returns
• Good technical understanding of Financial Reporting & statutory reporting is essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate effectively
• You must be able to multi-task and meet agreed deadlines
• Ability to network with other teams and internal departments and create working relationships

$90,000 - $110,000 Total Package including Superannuation (Pro-Rata to the length of contract)
