Here at Haig&Co, we are absolutely delighted to be working with a unique, exciting and sector-leading consultancy to bring on board a new Finance Director Designate. PE-backed, our client is at an exciting stage in their development and looking for a technically strong commercially-minded Finance Director Designate to work hand in hand with and in support of the board.
The Role
With no limits on the potential of this business, there is a need to establish a management team and finance function that can grow with the business and is fit for the future. The Finance Director Designate will support the CEO's decision making and strategy day to day, working strategically with senior stakeholders whilst also being across the detail and developing a strong understanding of the business.
A key component of this role will be to provide commercial and financial insight, establish robust processes and controls, which will initially require a "hands-on" approach, all whilst managing a finance team of 2 FTE.
The Person
With these factors in mind, the role will suit an experienced, adaptable and entrepreneurial accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with experience in the PE or SME space, and seeking an opportunity to be part of a notable business success story. Providing a clear route to a Finance Director role under the mentorship of experienced executives, it is essential that the successful candidate is looking to drive value creation in an entrepreneurial environment.

For the right person a salary in the region of £75,000, plus benefits and possible future equity will be on offer.
