Team Leader, Treasury Audit

Responsibilities:

Lead or participate in risk-based audit assignments in accordance to the budgeted timeline, manpower resources and cost.
Assess and review the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls and risk management practices implemented by the auditees.
Raise audit findings, identify underlying root causes, and recommend key controls for improvement in each audit assignments.
Clear review notes or queries raised by FA Head/SHs/Team Leader, where applicable.
Complete the audit task assigned per the agreed scope and comply with the standards/requirements laid out in the Audit Manual.
Update Audit Programs with the relevant guidelines issued from time to time.
Review team members' Electronic Working Papers (EWP), where applicable, and ensure completeness of audit documentation in the Audit Management System (AMS).
Monitor and follow-up with the auditees on the progress of rectification actions and the status of the audit recommendations with regard to audit findings raised.
Participate in ad-hoc assignments, meetings and discussions as requested by the Functional Area Head/Section Heads.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree - Finance, Accounting, Banking or Economics.
CBA, CIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ISCA is encouraged.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in audit/ compliance review in Financial Institution. Candidate who has lead a team to perform audit assignments will have advantage.
Knowledge of the risks, internal controls and regulations related to treasury function, activities, products & MUREX system will have advantage.
