Job Description
As Payroll Officer within our national HR team, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient in-house payroll administration services for all Link Asset Services (LAS) employees within UK, Ireland & Jersey. This includes accurate data entry and processing of payroll items of multiple payroll on a monthly pay cycle for approximately 3000 employees. A prompt response to employee payroll queries, and the provision of support to the Payroll Manager in the delivery of payroll services for Link Asset Services is key to this role.

Key responsibilties:
  • Accurate data entry and payroll processing for monthly payrolls in Oracle Payroll EBS
  • Responding to and resolving employee payroll queries
  • Interpreting various terms, conditions, allowances and payment in conjunction with the HR team
  • Administration and coordination of employee benefits, insurances and compensation working with the wider HR team
  • Calculating employees' termination payments
  • Support pension and benefits payroll administration; pension application forms, monthly contributions, changes to benefit levels, and changes to terms and conditions tracking
  • Providing Oracle (LinkCentral) system support to all LAS employees
  • Provide regular monthly reporting to the HR Business Partners, HR Co-Ordinators and HR Managers as required
Qualifications
Essential:
  • Relevant payroll processing experience; processing a large payroll of 500+ employees
  • Demonstrate high level accountability for end-to-end process, diligence and a track record of high quality work
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work in a team or autonomously
  • Strong numerical, problem solving, and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Highly developed reasoning ability with high investigative and administrative skills
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Service oriented with determination to achieve high quality work and resilience
  • Strong PC and Microsoft Skills, in particular Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
  • A confident team member with flexibility, adaptability and a friendly positive attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and be self-motivated with regular tasks and duties
  • Ability to keep abreast of payroll / tax legislative issues and requirements

Desirable:
  • Experience with Oracle Payroll EBS

Salary for this role is circa £24000 - £26000 per annum plus benefits
