Temporary Financial Analyst, Carlisle, Full time hours
Your new company
A large reputable organisation based in Carlisle are recruiting for a full time temporary Financial Analyst to work within their busy accounts team.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director your main responsibilities will include completing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing actual vs forecast reporting, allocating costs, processing journals, supporting the Management Accountants in producing the monthly financial pack, data interrogation as well as other ad hoc tasks to support the team.
The duration of this role is approximately 5 months although this may extend.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need at least 12 months recent paid experience within a similar role. You will have a solid understanding of financial processes and data analysis. You will have a solid understanding of double entry and will be comfortable and confident in using Microsoft Excel. You will be a team player, flexible with regards to duties and keen to improve processes and drive efficiencies in order to reduce costs and increase profit. You will have a keen attention to detail and be able to work under pressure and be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines.
