A global media business is looking to recruit a Commercial Client Accountant. Supporting the Finance Director this role will be responsible for financial reporting with focus on client finance and revenue recognition. Offering a full study package this role will be responsible for:
The successful candidate:
- Revenue recognition and WIP management
- Ensuring revenue is recognised in accordance with revenue recognition policies and in line with client contracts
- To maintain the revenue forecasting model and to work with the account handling teams to ensure the accuracy of forecasts
- Attending monthly client forecast meetings to discuss client job progress, profitability and forecasting
- To assist in the preparation of monthly general journals
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for the Board Directors and to provide supplementary analysis, supporting schedules and variance analysis
The successful candidate:
- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA studier
- Marketing services or Media experience preferable
- Excellent system skills
