Due to significant growth and continued success, this newly created role represents a fantastic opportunity to join an impressive, multi-award winning business operating across the technology and healthcare sectors. As a key member of the finance team, you will support the Financial Controller and Finance Director in ensuring that accurate financial records are maintained and financial transactions are promptly and accurately processed.

Specifically this will involve:
- Taking full ownership of the purchase ledger from end to end, building relationships with suppliers and resolving supplier queries.
- Reviewing credit limits and working with the commercial team to negotiate appropriate limits.
- Preparing payment runs ensuring suppliers are paid in line with credit terms whilst actively managing cash flow.
- Reconciling all supplier statements to the purchase ledger.
- Maintaining accurate supplier standing data, ensuring all amendments are properly evidenced and approved.
- Working closely with the Financial accountant, ensuring accurate prepayments and accruals are created at each financial month end.
- Preparing weekly aged creditor reports for reviews and cash flow forecasting.
- Working with the purchasing team to ensue a smooth supply of goods are delivered.
- Preparing an analysis of company card expenditure, posting in the nominal ledger, and checking it’s in line with the management accounts preparation timetable.
- Assisting with the preparation of accurate management accounts.
- Reporting revenue through reconciliation of a high volume of transactions via Excel.
You will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- An appreciation of working in a fast paced, high volume business.
- Good Excel skills, comfortable with handling large volumes of data.
- "Can-do", hands-on approach, with tenacity and a strong desire to develop and excel in a dynamic, commercial environment.
- Experience working within purchase ledger, together with all-round accounts skills.
- Strong personal drive
