An immediate opportunity has arisen for an Interim Management Accountant to help an acquisitive business migrate all reports onto SAP. This business owns established operations on a global basis. Due to recent growth they are looking for a candidate to support the Finance Team with financial and management accountant activities. This would be a 3 to 6 months role, working in a fast-paced business located within the Halifax area.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with SAP implementation in the non-SAP subsidiaries:
- Work with the Project Team to help implement SAP
- Be involved in the system design process.
- Prepare and validate data for migration in test mode.
- Assist with SAP training for end users.
- Provide support post go-live.
Support the Finance Department for the group’s subsidiaries:
- Manage accounts, journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with consolidated accounts and reports.
- Prepare VAT returns and other HMRC submissions.
- Prepare information for tax management and reporting.
- Assist with audit and statutory account preparation.
The successful applicant will essentially need experience of SAP system and full knowledge, strong I.T. and Excel skills. Possess good communication skills and the ability to use their initiative and manage their own workload within required timescales.
