Accounts Assistant

The client is an art studio, based in South West London (Balham), that specialise in contemporary art pieces. They host exhibitions around the world with original art pieces, constructed in the studio. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team (on a permanent basis) with the potential to grow alongside the company and as an Accountant.

They were founded recently, and since then it has really taken off. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team, in order to help manage the increasing workload.

Description

The successful Accounts Assistant will be doing:

• Double entry bookkeeping
• Purchase ledger invoicing
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Multi-account reconciliations
• Petty cash management
• Credit card management
• Assisting with the production of the year-end statutory accounts
• Staff expenses
• Quarterly VAT returns

Profile

The successful Accounts Assistant will:

• Have done double entry bookkeeping
• Have experience using the system Xero
• Have excellent communication skills
• Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Formulas)
• Have the ability to build relationships with people
• Have experience managing the purchase ledger
