Due to the expansion of our client, a large multinational company, we are seeking to appoint a
Your assignment
- Full responsibility of G/L accounting in compliance with European statutory requirements and US - GAAP
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and timely and accurate monthly/quarterly closing
- Establish, maintain and coordinate effective accounting control procedures
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy, completeness and integrity
- Interact with external auditors/authorities in fulfilling audits and local requirements timely and correctly
- Strengthen the GL accounting team by providing new ideas, sharing previously acquired knowledge and optimize processes
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on
Your profile
Degree in Finance/Accounting and at least five years of GL accounting experience.
Ability to analyze financial data.
Relevant experience in working for a multinational company.
Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications - preferred JDE.
Knowledge of accounting principles including but not limited to US-GAAP and/or IFRS.
English written and spoken required; other European languages are a plus (in particular Spanish).

- At least two years' professional experience in an accounting department
- A very good command of German and French
- Very good knowledge of Excel
