Senior Associate - Accounts & Tax with top KPO Vikroli

Job Description:

Purpose of Role:
Management of all aspects of accounting, tax and corporate governance for India Company
Involvement in global accounting tasks
The incumbent should be B.com/M.com with 2 to 8 years in accounting experience.

Key contacts:
Internal stakeholders - Heads of Departments in India, UK and US accounting teams
External parties - banks, auditors, tax authorities, consultants, vendors Senior Management - Director of Corporate Finance, Director of FP&A and the US based Corporate Controller. Other senior leaders of the company.

Key technical responsibilities:
Managing the monthly close for India company which includes ensuring compliance with internal deadlines, oversight of accounting ledgers accuracy, review of journals, reconciliations and back-up schedules and ledger analysis
Review the employee expense with receipts in Certify.
Preparation, review and timely filing of eTDS returns, GST, Return, statutory liabilities like TDS, PT, PF, ESIC, advance tax etc.
Completing statutory Audits, Finalization and Tax return filings and scrutinies.
Handling bank related matters
Co-ordination with UK/US colleagues.
Takes initiative in helping others understand the value of working as a team.
Sense of email tracking knowledge.
Good business communication
