Sewell Wallis are excited to be working exclusively with a well know Yorkshire 'brand'. A huge part of the Leeds community you will be joining a team of 8 as a Management Accountant.

This role requires a hands on accountant with varied experience to report to the Senior Management Accountant with day to day finance management.

The role will be quite autonomous and support the business Finance Director with financial management of group subsidiaries, therefore requires an individual happy to work individually or as part of a team.

Areas of responsibility;
Management Accounts production for Group subsidiaries including;
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Financial corrections including management of accruals, prepayments and journals.
Monthly financial commentary.
Supporting Treasury with management of cash flow.
Variance analysis, actual vs budget.
Yearly budgeting and forecasting.
VAT preparation.
Cash book postings.
Supporting the wider finance team with some transactional work when needed i.e. AP, AR.
