You will support the European financial controller to manage month end accounts for a multi-site manufacturing business. Description

Reporting directly into the Financial Director this Graduate Accounts Assistant opportunity will include responsibility of allocated locations to perform the following key responsibilities;

  • Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheets)
  • Controlling general accruals and prepayments
  • Working closely with site managers and regional managers to influence operational activities, controlling costs and maintain controllable processes
  • Production on various daily, weekly and monthly MI reporting
  • Reviewing daily stock process for both procured and manufacturing products to ensure accuracy of COGS and process any corrections
  • Prepare and present slides alongside the site manager at a monthly performance review of sites that you are supporting
  • Forecasting and budgeting - monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Profile

    The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Graduate within in finance with a minimum of 2.1 grade
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working within an accounts assistant role
  • Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
  • Early stages CIMA active study
  • Excellent Microsoft excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
