Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Accountancy team in Virginia Water.

Role Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Process monthly BACs runs

• Manage and maintain the Finance mailboxes

• Match invoices with delivery notes (where required) and enter onto the system

• Invoice and BACs filing, scanning and archiving

• Manage incoming documentation and staff/supplier queries

• Maintain the listing of Open POs, ensuring invoices are matched once received

• Oversee monthly invoice accrual for Management Accountant

Cash Management

• Oversee daily point of sale receipts/credit card transaction summary details

• Oversee daily cash collection & reconciliation

• Daily sales/member account reconciliations

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external bodies to resolve queries

• Run End of Day reports

Team Management

• Manage supplier relationships to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner

• Manage Aged Creditors through completion of statement reconciliations and regular reviews

• Induct new employees, identify training needs, manage Finance Assistant daily

• Oversee all daily operations of the Finance Assistant including: daily cash, invoice mailbox, invoice entering etc.

Projects

• Constantly review processes and procedures within Accounts Payable to improve efficiencies through use of systems/automation

• Ensure process notes for all areas of AP are documented

Other

• Other ad hoc tasks required by the Finance department

Profile

A successful candidate will have experience with the above

Salary £30,000 - £33,000
