This FP&A Analyst role will be responsible for delivering financial support, commercial analysis and insight to senior stakeholders across all areas of the business. Based in Oxfordshire, the successful candidate must be qualified and will be responsible for delivering monthly performance anaylsis as well as supporting the annual budget, forecasting cycle and the longer term strategic plan.

Description

Responsible for developing and maintaining an annual budgeting and forecasting model which aligns to the business priorities and KPIs

Manage delivery of high quality Board presentations in relation to monthly results, budgets and strategic projects

Analyse division financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.


Lead scenario modelling efforts for the improvement of company performance, particularly pricing and promotional investment decisions.


Influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the reporting and closing process through analytical review and trend analysis.


Maintain an effective reporting and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company's portfolio of businesses.


Participate as a key thought leader for the Financial & Commercial teams, influencing decision making, preparing presentations in support of commercial, board and shareholder meetings, monthly/quarterly.


Support the co-ordination and presentation of the annual operating plan and budget process for the platform

Profile

The successful FP&A Analyst will be a qualified accountant and have relevant previous analysis, reporting or planning experience. You will have a proven track record of being able to problem solve whilst also being able to work well under pressure. The role would suit a candidate with strong communication skills as well as commercial understanding.
