Commercial analyst role in a well established business in Caerphilly. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for overseeing specific operational key cost areas.

Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Working with Key Stakeholders that will include Procurement, Operations, HR & Finance teams in order to optimises service in as cost effective way as possible.
- Supporting the Finance Business Partner, CFO / COO directly with data gathering & collation to enable intelligent and informed business decision making for the areas of your responsibility
- Preparation and distribution of internal KPI reports and dashboards and presenting the key information to board
- Produce regular and various operational M.I. and analysis
- Ensuring that the organisation seek and procure the best value products that deliver requisite service quality
- To deliver data and tactical solutions that enables improved operational product consumption and identify areas of improvement for Operational Management to focus on
- Producing weekly & periodic Operational/Financial reports on-time and with accuracy
- Assist with the annual budget process and the periodic budgets / forecasts
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying towards a recognised professional accounting (ACCA/CIMA)
- At least 2 years of practical experience of accounting and/or banking/book keeping procedures
- Have experience within a commercial role
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables/V Lookups)
- Be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the business and prepared to actively participate in meetings.
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team, while planning and prioritising tasks.
