Management Accountant

The client are a global leader in the sale of a very specific luxury product in the travel an tourism industry. They are based in South West London (Green Park), and they are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. They are growing the Finance team, in order to manage the rapid expansion that the company has experienced over the last few years.

The client are a very exciting business that are based in South West London (Green Park). They specialise in the sale of a specific (luxury) product associated with the travel and tourism industry, and are the market leaders in the field. They are rapidly growing (they have been for the past few years) and they are looking for a Management Accountant to join the team to keep up with the expansion.

Description

The successful Management Accountant will be:

• Play a key role in the production and delivery of the monthly management accounts
• A key relationship owner with Captains, Owners representatives and high net worth individuals and ability to demonstrate cross team working
• Responsibility for the production and analysis of the balance sheet ensuring key monthly balance sheet reconciliations are maintained and analysed
• Day-to-day management of a small team and with support from the Head of Finance
• Authorising payments via bank transfer
• Preparation and presentation of funding requests to clients
• Preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
• Providing monthly analysis on financial performance for operations and capital expenditure
• Review of accruals and prepayments
• Playing a key role in system development and improvements
• Implementation of company policies and procedures where required and application of best accounting practice and treatment
• Ad hoc reporting

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will have:

• Previous experience producing a full set of Management Accounts
• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Business Partnering with various high-end clients
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Excellent communication skills
• Be professional
• Well presented
• Have the ability to build key relationships
• MUST be studying CIMA
• Previous Sage X3 experience is preferred (not essential)
