Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including Profit and Loss
- Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Inter entity transactions and journals
- Month end journals
- Month end invoicing
- Direct client contact
- Bank reconciliations
- Fortnightly payroll including superannuation
- Reconciliations of various profit and loss and balance sheet accounts
- ATO compliance including BAS and IAS returns
- Payroll tax lodgement
Skills and experience:
Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience using Xero in a public practice or bookkeeping business.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel to export and format Xero reports
You should be able to work autonomously.
Support will be provided by internal accountants.
Have the ability to review financial statements and identify areas that may need further investigation
