Management Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a luxury goods business based in central London.

My client was founded in 1972 and has grown to 13 offices worldwide. My client is an industry leader in the luxury goods market uniquely specialising in tailor-made products for their HNWI clients. My client leverages its expertise to guide clients through every aspect of the purchase including sale, purchase, new construction, and operational management. Due to rapid growth, an opportunity has arisen for a management accountant to join the team.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Production and delivery of the monthly management accounts
• Business partner budget holders & and HNWI clients
• Responsibility for the production and analysis of the balance sheet ensuring key monthly balance sheet reconciliations are maintained and analysed
• Day-to-day management of a small team and with support from the Head of Finance
• Authorising payments via bank transfer
• Preparation and presentation of funding requests to clients
• Preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
• Providing monthly analysis on financial performance for operations and capital expenditure
• Review of accruals and prepayments
• Playing a key role in system development and improvements
• Implementation of company policies and procedures where required and application of best accounting practice and treatment
• Ad hoc reporting

Profile

• Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
• Management Accounts experience essential
• Experience within Retail desirable
• Must have previous Sage X3 / Enterprise or equivalent systems experience
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Attention to detail for accurate and consistent reporting
• Strong communication skills with a proactive professional attitude

Job Offer

Basic salary of between £45,000 & £50,000
