Senior Finance Analyst

This Global Services Group is a leader in its field and an employer of choice operating across the globe and continuing to experience growth and development in their international and domestic markets.
They are now looking for a bright and ambitious Senior Finance Analyst to join their central FP&A team.
Reporting to Head of FP&A your role will have a pure commercial finance/decision support focus working with the business (no reporting).

Primary Responsibilities:
·Working within the Financial, Planning and Analysis team of the Western Europe Business.
·Business partnering with Senior Executives to ensure robust cost control.
·Support Ireland business unit to ensure achievement of Budget targets.
·Key outputs include accurate cost forecasting and budgeting, comprehensive reporting of variances and the provision of insightful, forward thinking analysis to aid business decision making.
·Senior Finance Business Partner supporting Senior Executives responsible for Western European functions.
·Responsibility for planning across Western European functions and Ireland business unit; forecast, budgets and multi-year plans.
·Understand one and three year strategic plans and be able to translate this into robust budget and multi-year forecasts.
·Ensure robust submissions and reporting is provided to assist senior executives where necessary to provide insight and analysis.
·Act as Finance representative at monthly business review and present financial outlook to SVP & GM for Western Europe.
·Build and maintain effective relationships with both non-finance and finance stakeholders.
·Gravitas to challenge and influence decision making.
·Develop and maintain forecasting tools to aid consistent, robust and challenging forecasts.
·Support FP&A Director with Ad hoc project requests.

Required Experience:
·Qualified Accountant (1-3 yr PQE) either ACA Qualified (straight from practice ideally Big 4) or CIMA/ACCA Qual in industry with exposure to FP&A/business partnering
·Experience of financial analysis (especially of revenues and costs across a multinational group) would be helpful but not mandatory
·Strong academic background; university graduate or equivalent
·Excellent analytical skills and experience building excel spreadsheets up to macro level.
·Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form. In addition must be able to explain/present results (especially financial) in a clear, accurate and concise form.
·Team player with strong work ethic.
·Strong interpersonal skills necessary to develop strong relationships with colleagues from the different territories
·Detail oriented, but ability to see the big picture.
·Flexible with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
·Ability to manage own workload in a pressurised environment and work to tight deadlines.
