Financial Advisory (FA) practice of Deloitte China provides strategic and financial advisory services to clients throughout all phases of the economic cycle. FA comprises several distinct but related global service lines whose shared principal objective is the creation and enhancement of shareholder and stakeholder value.

Deloitte Forensic Services assist organizations in managing forensic issues and focus on outcomes that address reputation protection, asset recovery and prevention.

We are looking for a manager/ associate director that will be working closely alongside the Directors and Partners and play a key part in making a difference by really influencing and shaping the strategic development of the team.

To be successful in this role, you will be a subject matter expert leading multiple, high-profile projects and bids, whilst developing innovative thought leadership. You will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the Business and also help recruit the best people, coach and support them whilst driving activity such as proposition development and marketing.

Work you'll do:

  • Engage in pre-sales, business development and delivery activities across RPA, machine learning and other AI based solutions for clients
  • Lead team of varied scale in client engagements and provide strategic direction across the account to deliver programmes with a superior client experience.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in an environment within a global, matrixed, and often virtual organization with a fast-paced, results-oriented culture
  • Manage risk through the course of an engagement and product development process
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them and a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

Essential Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering, IT Degree or similar
  • IT industry experience with strong project management and project delivery experience
  • Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices, especially solid experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to understand requirements and map to technical implementation
  • Experienced with scalable web applications with NodeJS / ASP.Net / PHP and associated technologies
  • Experienced with front-end using HTML5, CSS and Javascript and associated frameworks
  • Experienced with web services API integration
  • Experience in RPA technologies such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
  • Experience in data warehousing, data integration, ETL [e.g. Microsoft SSIS] and be able to apply this knowledge in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in database analysis services for visualization design such as Microsoft SSAS
  • Experience with multiple software platforms including the following Azure data PaaS services: Azure SQL DB, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, MongoDB and etc.
  • Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Qlik Sense , Power BI
  • Experience with scalable implementations using Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong communication and report writing skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
Desired Attributes
  • Able to demonstrate a technical specialty relevant to forensics
  • Prior experience in delivering financial crime projects for financial institutions or large organizations
  • Relevant subject matter experience in financial crime in AML advisory, transaction monitoring, sanctions advisory, client due diligence, business intelligence, investigations, market conduct, anti-fraud or anti bribery & corruption experience, and demonstrate good understanding of the current financial crime landscape
  • Experience with Python, R Language or SAS is a plus
  • Professional services, consulting, or advisory experience is preferred
