  • Oversee on day-to-day, weekly, monthly and annual work handling of Branches/ Subsidiaries and Branches Account's operational and related matters assisted by subordinates and Branch Staff including the proper handling of accounting treatment on sales, trade receivables, recoverable and payables.
  • Oversee in the handling of accounts and financial matters of dormant accounts (as assigned) and new ventures (as assigned) such work include payments ensuring timely and accurate generation of monthly, quarterly accounts, handling of audit and tax matters and others.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, quarterly and yearly Performance Reports, with proper analysis of schedules and analysis with the assistance of subordinates and Branch staff, where necessary. Active and timely support on this is required.
  • Handle weekly verification of suppliers' payments and ensure timely payouts.
  • Handle monthly review and perform checking of monthly commissions and incentives payments.
  • Handle quarterly review and perform checking of JVs, payments and others.
  • Oversee on certain overseas accounts and ensuring such oversea conduct the financial affairs of the said subsidiaries in a proper and reasonable manner which require periodic visits to such oversea subsidiaries as and when required.
  • Assist in tightening the present internal control system and recommend and propose changes for work improvements and standardization and re-engineering of work methodology with the aim to cut down unnecessary work for the department, including a good understanding of the present computerized accounting system(s) and play active roles in implementing work automation whenever necessary.
  • Involve in handling of GST and tax matters of the subsidiaries and other companies/ branches as assigned in close liaison with the tax agents, including having a sound understanding of the GST, tax laws and rulings to enable proper tax planning and mitigation for the companies handled and ensuring timely and accurate filing of annual submission, tax estimation and payments.
  • Play a pro-active role working in close liaison with the external auditors to finalize the annual audit and ensuring the statutory accounts are promptly submitted to Company Secretary for filling to CCM.
  • Assist in Annual preparation and update of Budgeting of Companies of the team, ensuring accurate compilation and timely submission working in close liaison with the operation team.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the superior/ management to you from time to time which inclusive of Due Diligent, special Corporate exercises and assignments.

Job Requirement
  • Possess Degree in Accounting or partial professional qualification in ACCA/ CPA.
  • Possess at least 5 to 8 years working experience on all Accounts related work and able to handle a wide spectrum of managing all accounting and tax operational work.
  • Able to lead a team of staff to deliver works.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work under deadline environment.
  • Fairly good communication skills.
  • Possess experience in supervising staffs.
