- To manage all aspects of financial responsibilities include accounting, budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, debt management, treasury and control improvement is prepared consistently and comply with regulations, policies, procedures and accounting standard.
- To supervise and review the monthly Financial Statements, Audited Accounts and accounting records, reconciliation of creditors, debtors, bank, intercompany, development expenditure, maintain accounts to ensure accuracy, complianc and completeness of accounting data and supporting documents.
- To lead the entire Finance Department to set parameters and monitor the progress of the subordinates to ensure reports are submitted on timely basis.
- To consult and discuss with the Management, bankers, tax agents, government authorities, external auditors and
- external contacts in the relevant industries to reaffirm on certain accounting treatment to be adopted by the Company.
- To assist Company in seeking external financing for working capital and projects implementations. Monitor the cash flow status of the company at healthy level.
- To review Board Paper, update progress report and matters arising.
- To review the outlet development expenditure control account maintained by subordinates by monitoring the budgeted development costs.
- To liaise with Management on corporate matters such as corporate governance, secretarial and legal, treasury and finance and overseeing Human Resources Expenses.
- To understand the outlet layout concept, infrastructure requirements, marketing strategies to prepare the tentative development schedule and financial planning for the overall.
- Other related works assigned by the management from time to time.
- Requirements
- - Candidate must possess at least ACCA/ CIMA & equivalent.
- - At least 10 years working experience and 3 years in management level.
- - Experience working in retail industries would be an added advantage.
- - Preferable those candidates specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
- - Required language(s): Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
- - Candidates must be willing to work at Subang Jaya.
