The role is covering the core areas of Management Accounts as well as elements of analysis and business partnering with departmental heads. You'd be working within a team of 4 reporting directly into the Head of Finance.

Client Details

The client is a luxury fashion brand that has graced the halls of big name department stores such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Barneys, with its clothing lines featuring in nearly 200 of the most exlcusive retailers. Having obtained a whole host of awards from Vogue and Elle magazine, they are doing extremely well in their market and have strong plans for future growth. Their team of 4 are looking to get a new Management Accountant on board that is hard working, committed and can work on an autonomous basis.

Description

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Full management and control of the month end process and reporting including:

  • Producing management accounts
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Accruals
  • Prepayments
  • Preparing and analysing cost by department with budget holders
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with year-end preparation and audit
  • Weekly sale uploads
  • Managing petty cash and company credit cards

Profile

The successful candidate will be the following:

    • Studying or looking to study either ACCA or CIMA
    • Experience in Retail/Fashion would be beneficial but not crucial
    • Excellent attention to detail

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines

    • High levels of personal motivation, a positive attitude

    • Strong Excel skills

  • SAGE 50 experience desirable
  • Previous experience to all key responsibilities is essential. Within fashion would be beneficial.

Job Offer

On offer to the candidate is:

  • A salary between £30k - £35k

  • Full study support

  • Pre tax bonus of 5% of salary (based on company performance)

  • 4% Pension

  • 20 days holiday with 8 Bank Holidays on top (increases by 1 day per year of service)

  • Annual salary review
