Summary Seeking a highly energetic, Business Analyst, specifically with experience in driving out and documenting detailed business and technical processes. The Business Analyst will specialize in security process, business requirements, traceability to test cases, and user documentation and training. The Business Analyst is accountable for gathering the security business, technical and data requirements to align advanced grid processes and designs to security requirements and validate successfully implemented designs through rigorous testing. Works closely with a variety of business stakeholders from multiple organizations within the company to identify, analyze and document Business requirements and security requirements for security services. Responsibilities Defining as is and to be business processes, establish use cases for each security requirements and assist in applying security requirements to business processes. Develop and validate security requirements from security standards and regulatory commitments for advanced grid specific needs. Assist in developing near–term and long–term plans for security services by Gathering advanced grid requirements for security services. Validating and getting agreement to security service requirements with stakeholders. Communicate security requirements to security service owners. Assist in identifying and aligning adherence to security requirements, document gaps and risks, track closure of requirements. Conduct working sessions to determine the near–term and long–term solution options with security engineering. Assist in establishing security testing plans and report on testing results and security risks to ensure traceability to requirements. Requirements Minimum 7 years of hands–on business analyst experience. This person is required to have strong communication skills and is highly organized, including the ability to facilitate business and technical meetings and reviews, keep stakeholders focused on a common goal, and the ability to effectively document the business and technical requirements in business requirements definition form. Should be able to work with uncertainty and lack of clarity. Experience in security concepts, principles, processes and technologies including Application and Network security (LAN, WAN, Wireless security, NAC) , IAM, SIEM, Vulnerability and Patch management, Certificate Management, Encryption, End Point security, NIDSIPS, Industrial System Security. Proven experience collecting and managing security business needs and requirements throughout a project lifecycle (initiation, planning, design, development, testing and implementation). Proven success documenting business needs and requirements with a diverse group of stakeholders and delivering well written use cases that can be tied directly to design and test documents. Ability to review security design documentation and test cases to ensure alignment and coverage of all requirements. Ability to collect, manage and quantify requirement change requests. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi–tasking skills. Proven experience on enterprise projects. Direct experience as a BA at a Utility or equivalent experience working on highly integration software and hardware projects or with Electric Distribution related projects, is preferred. Experience with and understanding of cyber security frameworks including ISA 62443, NISTIR 7628, NIST 800–53 and 800–82, Cyber Security Framework (CSF) or equivalent, a plus. Minimal travel required.
