My client are an amazing Media agency who are looking for a confident and ambitious Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in the business. With some A-list clients and a great brand presence, this is an amazing opportunity to establish yourself in a creative company.
The role as Financial Controller will report directly into the CFO and take on an all rounded role. Your role as Financial Controller is a maternity cover contract where you will be managing the day to day finance function by overseeing the team and reviewing their work including month end closure and payment runs. You will also be responsible for cash management, forecasting, budgeting and reviewing the management pack as well as ad-hoc projects.
The right candidate for the Financial Controller position will need to be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). My client are flexible on experience and consider candidates who are making a step up but will need to have the gravitas and outgoing personality to fit in to the agency. You will need to be confident and ideally have worked in a fast paced industry where you can demonstrate tight reporting deadline. Industry experience is ideal yet not essential.
