Harmonic Finance are proud to be recruiting on an exclusive basis for one of the United Kingdom's fastest-growing international FMCG manufacturing companies. Located in a beautiful state of the art office in central Leeds they are seeking an Interim Financial controller on a 6-month contract.
The role would be ideal for an experienced Financial Controller with excellent technical grounding and experience building and ensuring a robust control environment. There is also a range of diverse projects, helping the business to improve productivity, commercial optimisation and growth.

The role would be ideal for an experienced Financial Controller with excellent technical grounding and experience building and ensuring a robust control environment. There is also a range of diverse projects, helping the business to improve productivity, commercial optimisation and growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of the annual financial report and accounts across multiple entities.
- Annual audit preparation and supervision
- Constant process and systems improvement, providing input and suggestions to the Board and Shareholders
- Oversight of the FP&A and budgeting processes and ownership of accurate production of the P&L and Management Accounts
- Partner with Business Development and Programme Management colleagues to support with strategic decision-making.
- Solid all-round background in Finance, Tax and Treasury
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) (preference for ACA)
- Technically strong Financial Controls and IFRS experience
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability
- Experience of operating in a high-growth environment, preferably with an international supply chain element.
- Advanced Excel skills
Additional Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of NAV, Sage or similar combined Finance or ERP systems
- Some experience of working in a business with a significant Private Equity stake would be of real benefit.
Rate:
- Flexible depending on experience
- 6 months with good chance of extension
