Immerse yourself in a challenging and fast paced environment and join our Group Treasury Funding team.
Group Treasury sits within the Financial Management Group and is responsible for Macquarie's Liquidity, Funding, Capital and Group Structure. The team advises senior management on balance sheet capacity, cost, risk and return and supports the CEO, CFO and senior management on strategic issues.
In the role you will be part of the team responsible for the liquidity risk framework, with exposure to the broader Funding team which includes banking relationships, execution of new funding and funds transfer pricing. We are looking for an Associate / Senior Associate to focus on liquidity policy, liquidity scenario modelling and funding and liquidity reporting functions.
Key to your success in this role you will have an outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree, e.g. actuarial, accounting, commerce, economics, engineering, mathematics. You will possess clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, alongside the ability to understand and succinctly explain complex data. You will be confident in interacting with stakeholders and resolving competing priorities. In addition, you will have a high level of attention to detail.
This role will suit you if you are analytical, are commercially minded and enjoy problem solving. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high performing team where you will have the opportunity to engage with all levels of management including senior stakeholders.
