An exciting opportunity for a hands on, Finance Manager to join a growing SME business and to make this role their own. This role is suitable for a fully qualified accountant with experience of doing a similar all-round role within an SME environment.

A growing and successful SME business, based near Leeds.
Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Working with Group Financial Controller to develop the management accounting and business partnering function
- Taking responsibility for month end accounts routine, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal preparation and posting, management accounts production
- Supporting Group FC and mentoring members of the team, with a view to future line management
- Posting bank transactions & updating cash flow forecast
- Completing payroll and assisting with other HR tasks
- Assist with year-end accounts and pack
- Providing cover for Group FC when away from office
Profile
The successful Finance Manager should:
- Hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Previous experience in a similar, hands on role - ideally within an SME environment
- Team Management experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Confident working with excel and improving systems
- Self motivated and ability to use own initiative
