Page Personnel is working in partnership with a leading retail business in Liverpool to recruit a part qualified Management Accountant role.

Description
As Management Accountant reporting into a supportive Financial Controller, you will take on the following duties:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow
- Preparing full year sales forecasts and consolidation for the entire group
- Preparing annual budgets for sales, costs and overheads, with monthly variance analysis and commentaries
- Competitor analysis, comparison of actual performance versus operating plan
- Weekly stock reports and margin analysis
- Costing estimates for new products and involved in pricing strategies
- Reviewing promotional and discounts on products
Profile
The successful candidate for the Management Accountant role must have the following skills and experience:
- Studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification such as CIMA/ACCA
- Experience working in a fast paced management accounts role
- Strong commercial experience with a solid business acumen
- Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills - strong data extraction / manipulation experience
- Strong desire to progress and develop
