This exciting and newly created role will oversee the finance function and report into the Director of Finance. This pivotal role will lead on the continued development and implementation of the organisations commercial strategy and will ensure policies, procedures and new development opportunities are implemented to agreed deadlines. Responsibilities for the role include:
*Management of both the commercial services and finance team which currently consist of four members of staff
*Provide technical expertise to the finance team and wider organisation
*Analyse trends to help identify financial risks
*Lead on the production of monthly management accounts and variance analysis, supporting the Finance Director and working closely with Budget Holders across the organisation
*Provide high quality management reporting and information, meeting strict deadlines
*Liaise with external Stakeholders
*Ensure best practice for financial reporting is followed at all times
This organisation is based in central London, has a total of 75 employees and an annual turnover of £11.5 million.
The successful candidate will be:
*ACA/CCAB qualified Accountant with a strong understanding of financial systems
*Demonstrable experience of working at a similar level
*Previous management experience of a minimum of two members of staff
*Experience of providing information to non-financial managers
*Excellent communication skills
