Under Armour's vision is to be the #1 Performance Athletic Brand in the world. To help achieve this goal, we are building a world–class Financial Planning & Analysis team whose focus will be developing core competencies in the areas of FP&A, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution.

The Analyst of FP&A – Gross Margin Center of Excellence will transform how Under Armour operates by embedding data and analytical insights into our core work processes to provide key insights and reporting that will influence the strategic decisions related to Gross Margin.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Asia Pacific (APAC) region to own Product Margins end to end. With a new SAP FMS accounting system going live Apr 2019, any existing tools will need to be updated. This will also provide additional opportunities for analysis through increased visibility.
  • Generate APAC Product Margin Forecasts, helping to translate global seasonal forecasts to regional fiscal P&Ls.
  • Update and extend Product Margin forecast vs. actuals variance analysis reporting to analyze key performance drivers that will include monthly walks and exception reports.
  • Develop a channel and country level monthly Gross Margin reporting package/dashboard to deliver key insights around P&L performance, KPIs/Initiatives tracking, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance team to explain quarterly/yearly Gross Margin movements to critical stakeholders (i.e. CFO/COO, Board of Directors, Investors)
  • Work cross functionally with Regional Finance, Sport Category, Merchandising, and Planning teams to share findings and provide key strategic recommendations that drive business decisions.


  • Bachelors in a business or quantitative degree (Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Operation Research, Systems Engineering, Decisions Sciences, Applied Math, Economics etc.)
  • 2–5 years of analytic experience working in CPG (FMCG), Retail, Banking, Consulting, etc.
  • Experience in revenue generation, pricing, costing.
  • Technical Experience with:
    • Visualizatin (one or multiple): Tableau, Spotfire, Lumira, DB3/JS
    • Analytic sftware (one or multiple): KNIME, Alteryx, RapidMiner, etc.
    • Databases (ne or multiple): Access, SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, etc.
    • Reprting tools (one or multiple): SAP Business Objects, Oracle NetSuite, IBM Cognos, etc.
