Large well known business looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client is large organisation with offices in Brighton with easy access via public transport. Offering fantastic progression throughout the business.

Description

* Log incoming invoices from suppliers

* Scan invoices and electronically file

* Ensure invoices are passed to the relevant team for processing in a timely manner

* Create batch headers for invoices, accurately recording the information

* Identify any differences between our records and the invoice, raise with the relevant department or lounge partner

* Accurately input the detail from the batch header on to our finance system

* Pass the invoice and batch header to the Supervisor for authorisation and release

Profile

* Studying towards an Accountancy qualification such as AAT

* Purchase Ledger processing experience essential

* A good understanding of MS Excel (filters, sorting, simple formulae)

* A good understanding of MS Outlook

* Previous experience of high volume data input

* Experience of multi-currency environments is not essential but a benefit

* Knowledge and experience of financial systems

Job Offer

Up to £25,000 + fantastic benefits
