We are currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive SMSF senior accountant to join our dynamic and growing SMSF team. This role will suit a candidate that has prior experience in the SMSF space and is looking to take their career to the next level.

About your role

You will be managing our SMSF's with the following being your main responsibilities;

· Preparation of SMSF financial statements and annual returns

· Work closely to maintain and develop relationships with our client base

· Research and evaluate technical matters, liaising with external providers as required

· Strategic focus, identifying potential clients and new opportunities in conjunction with the Directors

· Effective and efficient management of the entire SMSF administration, processing functions

· Managing a small team

· Administration and preparation of funds for audit

· Management of and preparation for client meetings

To be successful in this role you must have;

· 2+ years SMSF experience in a public practice firm

· Strong communication skills - written and verbal

· A genuine passion for SMSF

· Demonstrable and solid experience in an accounting or financial planning firm

Your relevant technical skills in tax and accounting compliance for SMSFs will ensure you are perfectly positioned to efficiently and discreetly service our clients to the highest standards. You can demonstrate the following;

· Proven experience in preparation of funds for audit and experience in reviewing completed work to ensure accuracy

· Ability to develop and build client relationships

· Strong time management skills

· A people and team oriented approach

· Attention to detail
