Client Details

Our client are an international company with their London office based in Marylebone/ Mayfair.

Their Finance Director is based across the UK and France meaning he is in the London office 1 to 2 days per week. This role will therefore predominately be in charge of all finance functions with guidance and remote supervision from the Finance Director.

The role will be a temporary to permanent role, initially paid hourly before becoming permanent (salary £40,000).

Candidates must have experience with multiple currencies in order to be considered for this role.

Description

This role, Sole Bookkeeper with International Exposure (Temporary to perm), involves:

- Managing the company's finance function for the UK and France

- Producing the management accounts with assistance from the Finance Director when needed

- Reporting into the Finance Director who is predominatly based in France, with 1 to 2 days in London per week

- Producing Financial reports

- Cash flow forecasting and cash management

- Revenue recognition

- Historical analysis of billing cycles

- Intercompany reconciliations

- Filing VAT returns

- Journal entries

- Temporary to permanent

- Paid hourly for the temporary duration which is 3 to 6 months

- Accountancy focused

Profile

The candidate we are looking for, Sole Bookkeeper with International Exposure (Temporary to perm), must:

1. Have international exposure and have dealt with multiple currencies previously

2. Be happy to work in a sole role

3. Be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice
