Position Summary
Responsible for all business partnering support for assigned service groups.? Prepare and analyze the financial information that all levels of business partners need to make sound business decisions, quickly and accurately.? Responsible for completion of budget and forecasts as necessary.? Pursue and implement process improvements.? Focused primarily in the areas of operational finance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Be a strong business partner, supporting all areas of the business as necessary (Operations, Supply Chain, NPD)
  • Provide insight into operational performance and recommend improvements
  • Drive performance – Create/evaluate tactical and strategic actions to improve financial performance
  • Provide a clear performance baseline and credible financial forecasts/budgets
  • Partner with Service Groups to support them as necessary with costing analysis for new and existing products.
  • Prepare and load monthly financial information, trial balances, journal entries, and consolidate into financial reporting system.
  • Ensure all financial statement Inputs are accurate, timely and complete.
  • Analyze monthly results and explain any significant variance.
  • Respond to management questions regarding financial results.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Education:? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting (or B.A. with major in accounting)
Experience:? 4 to 6 years with major emphasis on cost in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:? Business Partnership, Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically Microsoft Excel (Access a plus), Teamwork and Collaboration, analytical problem solving ability, attention to detail, oral and written communication, work habits, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Cost accounting preferable with large manufacturing companies.?
  • CPA or CMA a plus.
