As a Financial Analyst, you will conduct analysis of divisional and department performance as well as prepare any special financial studies that may be needed. You may also be responsible for the development and implementation of new analysis techniques.

Your daily duties and responsibilities in this role will generally include:
  • Maintain monthly reporting and analysis models that track performance and results of various units within the organization including the monthly close/reforecast process and variance reporting standards.
  • Test and suggest new reports in response to current business issues.
  • Assist in drafting standard operating policies and procedures for the benefit of the department.
  • Monitors state and health plan compliance requirements and due dates.
  • Contributes to the development of periodic forecasts and the annual budget program.
  • Assist in providing timely and accurate reporting/analysis and ensure information is received completely and in the correct format before completing final analyses.
  • Complete special projects and ad hoc requests for financial information.
  • Refresh and analyze weekly cash flow and projection report.
  • Other ad–hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Helps provide financial analysis on all matters of potentially significant financial impact to the company, including product line evaluation, investment returns, cash flow, and capital additions.
  • Takes significant lead in the development of operating and capital budgets. Assists monthly financial close in identifying variances by department and following up on corrective action with appropriate personnel.
  • Prepares, monitors, and reports financial and operational performance by service line and payer. Prepares and audits monthly metrics reports. Provides Ad Hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Creates performance dashboards and reports that monitor business productivity and efficiency on a regular basis to ensure efficient and accurate reporting. Assists in the design and creation of reporting tools and new financial reports.
As a Financial Analyst, you must be highly organized and detail–oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to display a high level of integrity in dealing with confidential information. You should also have strong analytical and problem–solving skills, and enjoy the challenge of working on complex deal structures analysis. In addition, it is important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as the ability to summarize conclusions and make recommendations clearly and succinctly.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

? BS degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, preferred
? Minimum 2 years of financial analysis experience
? Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Microsoft Excel skills in financial analysis and sensitivity analysis
? Proven ability to modify and expand existing customized models to incorporate multiple financing sources
? Ability to simultaneously create and compare multiple financing scenarios and to prepare sensitivity and risk analyses
? Solid understanding of financial statements
