This person would be responsible for one of their key clients to ensure all transactional duties are complete to a high standard. It would suit someone who's studying their AAT and has 1 year's finance experience, looking to take their next step in finance.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:

  • Overall responsibility for all accounts functions for one of our major clients, including, but not limited to
  • Purchase ledger, timesheet reconciliation for circa 350 clients
  • Contractor payments to strict deadlines
  • Sales ledger checking
  • Full month end reconciliation for the client
  • Full contractor margin analysis
  • Ad hoc tasks

    • Profile

    The successful candidate:

  • Proven experience in an accounts team
  • Good level of excel experience, including lookups and pivot tables
  • Confident personality to deal with senior management team members
  • Proactive and efficient
  • Organised with a strong attention to detail
  • AAT studier / relevant experience
