Responsibilities:
• Understand key business activities and offer support when required
• Ensure reporting requirements are met in line with the appropriate deadlines
• Manage day to day finance and accounting functions.
• Oversee the functions of the Finance & Accounting Department and ensure their alignment with the overall Company and Department’s plans and targets.
• Review, analyse and interpret Accounting records for senior management and provide assistance in decision making.
• Develop accounting and management policies and procedures in consultation with the Group Finance
• Prepare monthly management accounts and review the same with the CEO
• Handle Cash management and drive working capital initiatives across the business
• Deliver half and full year accounts, including extensive audit liaison
• Lead Budget processes, review performance with Senior Management and deliver accurate and robust forecasts
• Deliver effective management information on financial activity across the different ongoing projects, including an analysis of trends and challenges to the Services Director
• Provide monthly and ad-hoc analysis and reports to support the Senior Management Team in their roles
• Verify and report irregularities to management
• Assess the financial stability/viability of potential clients and subcontractors
• Liaise with banks for day to day banking operations and assist in arranging the funded and non-funded bank facilities
• Contribute and take initiative in driving margin improvement across the business
• Implement and ensure that adequate internal controls are in place
• Tracking projects cost and producing P&L statement
