Head of Finance

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer

Job Descriptions:

The incumbent is expected to manage and lead the operation in the area of Finance & Accounts to deliver effective and efficient processes, developing and embedding controls that safeguard the company assets and manage risk appropriately. Specifically:

• To oversee financial transaction processing (account receivable and account payable) and reconciliations within the company.
• To create and enhancing financial policies and procedures in consultation with the Management to ensure the consistency and maintain a continuous improvement on efficient ways of working.
• To work with departmental heads across the business in supporting their financial activities, guiding them through financial process, and interpreting the progress, implications of financial outcomes.
• To support the Management with cashflow forecasting models that support the company strategic business plans.
• To collaborate across Management and Sales & Marketing Office to ensure new income generation initiatives incorporate sound financial controls and efficient processes whilst meeting business need.
• To collaborates with external partners such as tax accounting firm personnel, auditors, banker, treasury service providers and in all matter regarding auditing, taxation and banking.
• To ensure that Management and departmental heads are provided with accurate, timely and relevant reports.

Job Specifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a Professional qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years in the capacity of Finance Manager or Head of Finance.
• In depth knowledge of robust internal control, corporate financial laws, tax compliance, risk management practices, cash flow management, strong analytical skills, highly motivated and results oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and aggressive environment.
