Pricing Analyst

One of my regular clients, a large, internationall recognised brand, with a site in Avonmouth, are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract of between 6 & 9 months in length.

My client is a well respected FMCG brand.

Description

The key responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to;

• Maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of customer prices and pricing functions
  
• Reviewing promotional accrual data and resolving inconsistencies
  
• Maintain adjustment schedules in accordance with company policy, ensuring that accurate pricing is invoiced to customers
  
• Review, investigate and resolve price claims and other promotional claims with account handlers & customers
  
• Act as an internal contact for customer pricing and build rapport with the Sales team
  
• Liaise on a regular basis with key stakeholders to ensure prompt query resolution
  
• Responsible for advanced pricing functions and implementing the advanced price functions across the business in areas where this will be an improvement on current processes.
  
• Input into promotional and pricing processes, ensuring the processes meet company requirements and provide feedback with ideas / suggestions for changes
  
• Responsible for ensuring all promotional invoices are scanned and logged on to the promotions system accurately and within agreed SLA
  
• Reviewing missing promotional discounts and correcting in line with company process
  
• Review un-accrued sales volumes in line with promotional agreements to spot any missed activity
  

Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate;

• A background in financial or analytical roles
• Strong experience with MS Excel, and ideally JDE, Cognos or Demantra
• A desire to progress their career into analytical roles.
• Immediate availability.
• Confidence and an outgoing personality.

Job Offer

In return, my client can pay a salary of circa £20,000 per annum, although this could flex up or down, depending on your level of qualification and experience.
