Job Description
Under general supervision, lead department efforts in financial and data analysis, including monthly metric reviews and reporting and monthly financial tracking and analysis. Analyze information and data needs for optimal sourcing. Ensure processes and data are aligned in order to ensure data integrity and drive decision making around resource allocation. Assist department with the annual planning process and work within department to develop forecasting and metric reporting processes. Responsible for IT Vendor Management facilitation, ad?hoc projects, and various financial and data analysis duties as required.
Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, track, and provide monthly financial and IT metrics variance analysis and reporting for IT?Department.
  • Develop and maintain department budgets, forecast, variance analysis, and IT performance metric dashboards.
  • Assist in data modeling and IT benchmarking.
  • Facilitate vendor management process for IT Department, including participation in vendor negotiations and contract development.
  • Analyze information and data needs and ensure data integrity for IT metric production to ensure optimal resource utilization and decision making.
  • Identify and analyze information flows.
  • Assist with coordination of other IT department processes.
  • Facilitate department's annual planning process. Prepare forecast and projected financials for internal management decision making.
  • Provide internal department management with financial and IT metric reporting.
  • Communicate financial results and IT benchmarking with internal users and coordinate monthly metric reporting.
  • Perform numerous special projects as assigned.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; finance, accounting, or related major is preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related area.
  • 1+ years' prior data analyst experience.
  • Related insurance experience preferred.
