Page Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a growing financial services business with key finance offices based in Leeds.
An expanding financial services organisation with a good reputation, with key finance offices based in Leeds.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant you will be working as part of a busy, newly created team, responsible for assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, preparing and processing journals including accruals and prepayments, managing inter company balances, reconciling costs and recharges and assisting with audit queries.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an AAT studier or early stages ACCA/CIMA studier to join a growing organisation in an assistant accountant role with month end exposure.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- Have worked in an accounts assistant/assistant accountant role previously
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
Job Offer
£20,000 - £23,000 + full AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support + free on site parking + pension scheme + excellent opportunity to progress
