Job Description

You will build strong customer relationships with existing and new clients gaining insight into their needs and delivering customer-centric solutions.

You’ll draw from your existing experience of working with purchase ledgers and computerised accounts packages to support our Accounting and Administration team.

You will need to be action orientated and willing to take on new challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm. Working in our busy team will include all elements of accounting structures including bookkeeping, monthly or quarterly management accounts, cash reporting, VAT returns and annual financial statements.

Everyone's ideas count and we will encourage you to look for ways to help us improve our processes and procedures in the most effective and efficient way possible.

Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, with an eye for detail, great organisational skills so you can prioritise your day. Strong communication skills is a must have to build relationships across the business.

Qualifications

• Part or fully qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience working in a similar role
• Knowledge and experience of preparing VAT returns
• Good working knowledge of FRS 102.
• Proven experience within the CSP environment (desirable)
• Knowledge of commercial property accounting (desirable)
• Working knowledge of the following systems (desirable) – Sage, 5series, Word and Excel.
