- Provide reporting and analysis on product /customer profitability, process costs, etc.
- Prepare budgets, review budget proposals and assist management in measuring financial performance and results against budget.
- Establish the financial policies for the company and ensure effective cash management together with global treasury.
- Facilitate business performance reviews including variance analysis, forecasts and flash reporting across key areas.
- Support cost saving initiatives.
- Direct all finance and accounting activities of the companies, including preparation of financial statements, inventory and fixed assets accounting, tax returns, reports for government regulatory agencies, auditors, etc.
- Ensure adherence of global standardized processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance for all legal, corporate and statutory matters.
- Develop appropriate metrics to measure growth, improve profitability, control expenses and enhance productivity; deliver innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for strategic decision making
- Partner with stakeholders throughout SEA countries to ensure financial management responsibilities are understood and financial goals are achieved.
- Lead, motivate, evaluate and coach a team of around 30 team members throughout the SEA region to developing required skills to ensure work is delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Responsible, together with HR, for staff recruitment, training and development, etc. in the area of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent, Post-Graduate qualifications will be advantageous
- A Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a managerial position with supervisory experience
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a must, and prior working experience in Shared Services environment will be an advantage.
- Demonstrates strong Organizational and Leadership abilities
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
