Our client is an international asset management house. They focus on providing clients with global investment solutions that meet the demands and challenges of sophisticated and complex investment and economic circumstances. With steady growth, they are now looking for a high calibre to join their team.

Accountable for providing oversight for accurate, timely, and relevant monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, and will work closely with senior management to understand and deliver on all financial requirements of the business. Key responsibilities include financial reporting and analysis, supporting current finance transformation initiatives, ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place, board reporting, managing external audits and managing a staff of professional accountants. As a change agent responsible for leading initiatives to improve business processes. Accountability for all financial accounting and reporting activities across Asia including the monthly preparation of financial results, trend analysis, account reconciliations and other related reports and key stakeholder deliverables. Provide financial oversight to Finance heads from in the region. Financial reporting across all basis of accounting including internal controls related to financial reporting. Oversee control documentation and prepare audit requests related to internal and external audit requirements. Review quarterly unaudited legal entity financial statements for a variety of legal entities and prepare board packages for legal entity board meetings. Work independently or with management to identify complex operational business issues and develop solutions to automate existing manual processes. Build networks and relationships with various groups to exceed business objectives.

To qualify, you will be a degree holder with a minimum of 12years of progressive financial management experience; asset management and/or insurance investment industry experience is required. Experience effectively managing the relationships of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent team management/leadership skills with experience managing high performing onshore, nearshore and offshore teams in complex environments. Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of the business environment and divisional financial reporting structure. Strong computer skills and an expert proficiency using MS Excel and the Essbase/SmartView add-in. Knowledge and active use of general ledger reporting tools and systems. Strong oral & written communication skills.
